Send money to Poland from Kuwait, as a euro credit
What actually happens on this corridor
Poles in Kuwait are mostly on the construction and engineering side: site and project managers, civil and structural engineers, surveyors, specialists brought in by European contractors working on Kuwaiti infrastructure and plant. It is a real presence and a well paid one, and most people in it are sending money to a household that thinks and budgets in zloty.
Which is why the mechanics need stating plainly. Grey sends euro. The transfer travels through SEPA and lands in a Polish IBAN at PKO Bank Polski, Bank Pekao or mBank as a euro credit. If the receiving account is a zloty account, the recipient's own bank converts it on arrival at that bank's rate, which neither you nor Grey controls and which you cannot see from Kuwait. If the receiving account is a euro account, and plenty of people working with European contractors hold one, nothing converts and the money simply arrives.
On the funding side, Grey holds no Kuwaiti dinar balance. You hold US dollars provided by Lead Bank, pounds or euro. Holding euro means the money you send is euro from beginning to end.

What this costs, and where the cost you cannot see sits
The part to be honest about is the other side. Where the euro lands in a zloty account, the receiving bank in Poland converts it, and that bank sets its own rate and may add its own charge. That cost is real, it does not appear anywhere in the Grey app, and it is the reason this corridor suits some people and not others.
So the comparison here is not Grey against another provider on a euro to zloty rate. It is whether a euro credit plus a Polish bank's conversion works out better for your recipient than a service that converts to zloty before it arrives. For somebody with a euro account in Poland it plainly does. For a household that needs zloty in hand and banks somewhere with unforgiving conversion terms, it may well not, and you should work that out before you send rather than after.

How the rate works when there is one

Where you are converting into euro, from dollars or pounds, Grey shows the live rate before you confirm and fixes it there. The euro figure on screen is the euro figure that reaches the Polish IBAN. That part is settled and does not change afterwards.
Where you hold euro already, no rate is involved on Grey's side at all. What leaves your balance is what arrives, less the fee you saw.
Worth knowing from the Kuwaiti end: the dinar is the highest valued currency unit in the world and is managed against a dollar weighted basket, so quoted rates around Kuwait look almost unchanging. That steadiness is a property of the dinar's management, not evidence that a margin is small. And the zloty conversion, when it happens, happens after all of this and in someone else's hands.
