Send money to Mexico from Kuwait
A small corridor with two kinds of sender
There is no large Mexican population in Kuwait and it would be dishonest to imply one. What exists is a scattering of specialists, mostly in oil and gas, petrochemicals and heavy engineering, on contracts that brought them to Ahmadi or Kuwait City for a defined period, plus a second flow that is purely commercial: firms operating here paying Mexican suppliers, fabricators and service providers.
Both use the same payout. Mexican pesos go into an 18-digit CLABE, moved by SPEI, the domestic payment system Mexican banks settle between themselves on. Accounts at BBVA Mexico, Santander Mexico, Banorte, Banamex and HSBC Mexico all take the credit. The CLABE is the number that matters here, not the shorter account number printed on a card, and getting the full eighteen digits right is most of the job.
Grey holds no Kuwaiti dinar balance. You hold US dollars provided by Lead Bank, pounds or euro, funded by salary, contract payments or a transfer you send in, and you convert to pesos when you send.

What a peso transfer from Kuwait costs
The Kuwaiti end adds a quirk worth knowing. The dinar is the highest valued currency unit in the world, so the amounts involved read as small local numbers, while the peso figure at the other end is large enough that a fraction of a per cent is visible to anyone reconciling an invoice.
Grey shows the peso figure next to the fee before confirmation and fixes the rate at that point, so the amount you tell a supplier to expect is the amount that lands in their CLABE.

How the fixed rate works on this pair

The peso is one of the more actively traded emerging market currencies and it moves, sometimes sharply, on interest rate expectations and on North American trade news. The dinar barely moves at all, because it is managed against a dollar weighted basket rather than floating. All the volatility in this pair comes from the Mexican side.
Grey shows the live rate before you confirm and holds it from there through to settlement. For a payment tied to an invoice, that removes the question of whether the amount agreed and the amount received will match.
If your income arrives in dollars and stays in dollars until you send, the money becomes pesos once, with one margin, rather than making an unnecessary stop in another currency first.
