Shillings to a wallet, or to CRDB and NMB
Two Dutch sectors keep this corridor busy. Development organisations based in Utrecht, Amsterdam and Groningen have run programmes in Tanzania for decades, and Dutch horticulture has invested heavily around Arusha and the Kilimanjaro region, where cut flowers and vegetables are grown for European markets.
Shillings reach M-Pesa Tanzania, Tigo Pesa and Airtel Money by mobile number, or an account at CRDB Bank, NMB Bank, Stanbic Tanzania and Standard Chartered Tanzania. Where the euro balance is already funded, payouts typically land within minutes.

Two charges, one of them quiet
Grey shows the conversion and the payout as separate lines before you agree to the transfer.
That matters more when one sender is paying many recipients. A margin applied to thirty small wallet payments is a real cost to a programme budget, and it is invisible unless somebody publishes the rate.

The shilling amount is settled before it moves

Grey fixes the EUR to TZS rate at confirmation, and the wallet or account in Tanzania receives exactly what the screen in the Netherlands showed.
Field payments are usually agreed in shillings weeks in advance. The person waiting for one has planned around a number, and a conversion that moves underneath them is not something they can raise with anybody.
