Send money from the Netherlands to Egypt
An instalment in Egyptian pounds, sent from a Dutch salary
An off-plan purchase in Egypt is a schedule, not a transaction. Payments fall due every few months for years, each one a fixed figure in Egyptian pounds, and each one payable whatever the euro has done since the contract was signed.
Payouts reach Commercial International Bank, Banque Misr and the National Bank of Egypt, plus Vodafone Cash and Fawry wallets when a mobile number is easier to obtain than account details. Transfers from a funded balance typically arrive within minutes, and the pound figure is agreed before anything leaves the Netherlands.

Two costs, one of them hidden by most providers
Grey states the rate and the payout cost as separate numbers on the confirmation screen, and applies exactly those.
On a property schedule the arithmetic is unforgiving. If each instalment quietly loses a percentage in the conversion, the total over the life of the contract is a sum you would have noticed if anybody had shown it to you at the start.

A pound total that does not slip

Grey fixes the EUR to EGP rate at confirmation. The pounds credited in Egypt are the pounds you were quoted in the Netherlands.
Developers do not accept a shortfall because a currency moved. Fixing the rate means the amount that matters, the Egyptian pound figure, is decided by you and not by the three days it takes to settle.

What the Egypt route gives you
A property contract in Egypt outlives most things in a person's financial life. The provider you pick for the first instalment is usually the one still being used at the last one, so it is worth getting right early.
