Ugandan shillings to a mobile wallet
There is no bank leg on this corridor, and you do not need one. Uganda runs on mobile money, so Grey pays UGX into an MTN Mobile Money or Airtel Money wallet addressed by the recipient's registered number. They need a phone and a wallet, not a current account and not a Grey account.
For the work Geneva and Bern fund in Uganda, that is an advantage rather than a compromise. A field officer in Arua or a community worker in Adjumani is far more likely to hold a wallet than a bank account, and the money reaches them without a trip to a district town.

What a Uganda payment costs
Grey prices the conversion into UGX and the fee separately and shows both before you approve, so the cost of running a month of wallet payments is visible rather than inferred afterwards.
Nothing is adjusted later. The shilling figure on screen in Bern is the shilling figure that lands in the wallet in Kampala.

Fixed before it leaves Switzerland

The UGX amount is agreed at the moment you confirm. Grey absorbs any movement in the shilling between then and the credit reaching the wallet.
When an allowance rate has been published to a team, that certainty stops a currency market turning into a conversation about why people were paid different amounts for the same week.

Reasons this route suits Uganda
A corridor made of many small wallet payouts is judged on whether each one arrives whole and on time. That is a different test from a single large transfer, and it is the test this route is built for.
