How Singapore-based senders reach Saudi Arabia
Start from the recipient's side. Someone in Riyadh needs a fixed sum in riyals by a fixed date, and they bank with Al Rajhi or another local bank. Southeast Asian pilgrims and workers send to Saudi Arabia, and Asian firms pay Saudi contractors.
Grey works backwards from that: enter the SAR figure, see the USD cost from Singapore, and send. The rate holds.
How sending to Saudi Arabia works

A passport or NRIC and a few minutes in Singapore. Your account arrives with dollar, euro and pound details for receiving money from abroad. Grey works with licensed partners serving Singapore.
Fund
Your salary or client payments in USD, EUR or GBP land in your Grey account. That balance funds the transfer to Saudi Arabia.
Send
Saudi Arabia uses IBANs too. Enter the recipient's SA IBAN, confirm the riyal amount and the fee, and tap send.
Two numbers, both shown first
With Grey, a sender in Singapore sees three numbers before confirming: the USD debited, the fee, and the SAR that reaches Riyadh. None of them change afterwards.

SAR amount held from send to settlement

Enter the SAR amount first if the recipient's figure is what matters. Grey shows the USD cost from Singapore and locks it.
The person at Al Rajhi sees exactly the sum you agreed.

The corridor most banks won't touch
Between Singapore and Riyadh, the problem is well known. Money for Umrah or Hajj is saved for, sometimes for years, and it needs to reach the right account intact. The same is true of a student's allowance in Madinah. From Singapore, Grey does the conversion transparently and delivers SAR as a domestic credit at Al Rajhi or any other bank.
What lands at Al Rajhi
The SAR posts directly to the recipient's own account at any Saudi bank, including Al Rajhi Bank, Saudi National Bank, Riyad Bank, Alinma. To them it looks like a domestic credit. The sender in Singapore sees it settle in the app.

Works with every Saudi bank
From Al Rajhi to the smallest regional lender.

Looks local to them
A SAR deposit on their statement, nothing more.

Grey optional on their side
Unless they want GreyTag, which is instant and free.
Topping up in Singapore
Before the SAR reaches Riyadh, the money has to get onto Grey in Singapore. Singapore-based senders fund Grey from foreign employers or clients paying in USD, EUR or GBP. That balance sends onward in one step. Hold the balance in dollars and convert to SAR exactly when the payment to Riyadh is due.
No local deposit
Grey in Singapore is funded from abroad only.
Three currencies in
USD, EUR, GBP all accepted, all convertible to SAR.
One conversion out
Rate shown before you send to Riyadh.
For a Singapore-based sender, being able to convert to SAR at the exact moment you choose is worth more than any fee saving.
