What this rate means if you are sending from the US
When you send money, the rate is only part of the cost. A transfer has three parts: a deposit fee, a conversion fee and a send fee. Grey shows each of them, plus the exact rupiah amount your recipient receives, before you confirm.
On a $1,000 transfer funded by ACH, the deposit fee is $8 (0.8 percent, minimum $2, maximum $10). The conversion fee is 1 percent, capped at $6. The send fee is shown separately, and the exact rupiah amount for a USD to IDR transfer is shown before you confirm.
