How Saudi-based senders reach Senegal
Start from the recipient's side. Someone in Dakar needs a fixed sum in CFA francs by a fixed date, and they bank with CBAO or another local bank. Senegalese working in the Gulf send home to Dakar and the regions every month.
Grey works backwards from that: enter the XOF figure, see the USD cost from Riyadh, and send. The rate holds.
How sending to Senegal works

You'll need a passport or iqama. Once verified, you have USD, EUR and GBP account details to give employers or clients, and Senegal as a destination. Grey works with licensed partners serving the Gulf.
Fund
Your salary or client payments in USD, EUR or GBP land in your Grey account. That balance funds the transfer to Senegal.
Send
For Senegal you'll need the recipient's RIB, the 24-character bank identifier every Senegalese account has. Paste it in, check the XOF amount, send.
Two numbers, both shown first
With Grey, a sender in Riyadh sees three numbers before confirming: the USD debited, the fee, and the XOF that reaches Dakar. None of them change afterwards.

XOF amount held from send to settlement

Enter the XOF amount first if the recipient's figure is what matters. Grey shows the USD cost from Riyadh and locks it.
The person at CBAO sees exactly the sum you agreed.

The corridor most banks won't touch
Between Riyadh and Dakar, the problem is well known. Senegal sits inside the CFA zone, so every payment crosses a currency wall. The cost of crossing it is the spread, not the distance. From Riyadh, Grey does the conversion transparently and delivers XOF as a domestic credit at CBAO or any other bank.
XOF into the account, nothing else
The XOF posts directly to the recipient's own account at any Senegalese bank, including CBAO, Ecobank Senegal, Société Générale Sénégal, Bank of Africa. To them it looks like a domestic credit. The sender in Jeddah sees it settle in the app.

Works with every Senegalese bank
From CBAO to the smallest regional lender.

Looks local to them
A XOF deposit on their statement, nothing more.

Grey optional on their side
Unless they want GreyTag, which is instant and free.
Topping up in Riyadh
Before the XOF reaches Dakar, the money has to get onto Grey in Riyadh. Expatriates in Saudi Arabia fund Grey from abroad: a salary paid in dollars, a client overseas, family. That balance sends home without a riyal step. Hold the balance in dollars and convert to XOF exactly when the payment to Dakar is due.
Foreign income
Dollars, euros or pounds received on Grey fund the transfer.
Hold, then convert
Keep the balance in USD and convert to XOF when the payment is due.
Existing balance
Convert and send in one step.
For a Saudi-based sender, being able to convert to XOF at the exact moment you choose is worth more than any fee saving.
